Tears of Mobos is an experimental synthwave project started in late 2018 by Captain Alan Albatross. He started the project after a lucid dream where he met the deity of perception and emotion, Mobos. He describes his musical sound as a bizarre look into the psychedelic, the retro, the unnerving, and the amusing. Influenced by the synth sounds of the 80’s, cinematic movie scores, and comedy-infused writing, along with frequent use of samples from movies and music, he strives to create unique and absurd hymns for the mind.
